- Left: Links to specific webpages, including a brief quotation that
conveys the gist of the page. As a rule, but not without exceptions,
essays and columns are identified by author; news stories, by publication
(abbreviated, if well known, such as NYT for New York Times). These
links change with each issue, except for those “Of more permanent
interest”, towards the bottom, which will change more occasionally.
These links are most likely to suffer from linkrot in a relatively
short time (perhaps a few weeks, perhaps a few days).
- Center: This View’s Column, new with each issue; and, the occasional
Potshot, if warranted by recent events.
- Right: Links to websites, including a brief description or quotation.
Though changes are inevitable, these remain largely the same from issue
to issue (after initial development, anyway).
- A link is not necessarily an endorsement of the views or opinions
expressed in the webpage or website to which it refers.
